Rosewood has the easiest book store to loot however imo. Yes you get 1 bad meta event and your garage doors are busted, hoards spawn like crazy over there. No water for fishing long term either, it’s more of a week 1 base for clearing the city. Respawn, migration and meta events can all drag Z around.In general, I recommend to set food loot and gather amounts to minimum and game speed to x2, cause it's easy to find a whole years amount of food in one game day otherwise. In Rosewood, just run far south east outside the town and you'll find years worth of food in a single spot.
